ワイン列車
Eさんが ご主人と一緒に ワイン列車に乗るために長野県へ行ってきたそうだ。そのイベントは 健幸堂が季節ごとに患者様にお配りする 「The 信州」というフリーペーパーで知ったそうだ。ワイン列車では 長野産ワインとともに料理を楽しむことが出来る。その晩は 野沢温泉に宿泊し,すごく楽しい旅になったとおっしゃった。
私は旅の土産話を聞くのが大好きだ。一緒に旅をしているような気持になる。

Vine train
Ms.E told me she and her husband went to Nagano prefecture to take part in the event of “vine train”. She knew the event by the free paper “The Shinsyu”, which Kenkodo offer clkents each seasons. The vine train offer the passengers Nagano made vine and cuisine made with Nagano-made foods. That day they stayed in Nozawa-onsen. She told me it was really delightful trip. I love to listen people talking about their trip. I feel like traveling with them.

10月のMT-MPS勉強会へ
10月のMT-MPS勉強会に参加のため大阪府堺市へ行ってきた。今回のテーマは 腰臀部の基本的治療だ。骨の解剖を意識することは大切だなあ、と再認識した。今回の発見を 今日からの治療にフィードバックすることを考えるとワクワクする。

Yesterday I went to Sakai city in Osaka to take massage therapy lesson. The theme was the basic therapy of lower back pain. There I recognized anew it is important to take conscious of the anatomy of bone. It makes me exciting to feedback the findings into practice from today’s therapy.

Dさん夫妻が健幸堂の隣の田んぼの収穫をしていた。歳をとるにつれ、田んぼの美しさに気づいた。黄金色の秋はもちろん、それぞれの季節の美しさがある。丸裸の冬の田んぼでさえ 色々な鳥がやってきて楽しませてくれる。
主食の供給をしてくださることばかりではなく、大切な風景を守りつづけている農家の方々、ありがとうございます！

Beauty of rice field
Mr. and Mrs.D, the owners of rice field next to Kenkodo were harvesting rice yesterday. Getting aged, I have found the beauty of rice field. Not to mention the gold-shinning field of its autumn, all season has its own beauty. Even in winter, when it looks completely bare, many kinds of birds come and amuse me. I thank rice farmers not only for keep supplying stable food, but also for preserving significant landscape.

大きな梨”新高”
”新高”という大きな梨をいただいた。重さは一つ８００以上！ 歯触りがシャキシャキで ジューシーで甘い。秋を感じた。何の気なしに シナモンをかけてみた。フルーツ好きの方は眉をひそめるかもしれないが、梨とシナモンはかなり合うことを発見。興味のあるかたはお試しを。

I was given two big Asian pears named “Niidaka”. Each of them weighs more than 800g! It is crispy, juicy, and sweet. It reminds me I am in the middle of the autumn.
Then without any special thought, I sprinkled cinnamon over the plate. Fruits lover might frown to see it, but I found cinnamon go with pear considerably. Why don’t you try it if you are curious.

来年の手帖とカレンダー
Amazonと楽天で注文した健幸堂の来年のスケジュール帳とカレンダーが届いた。これらを見ていると来年の健幸堂に思いをめぐらせわくわくする。来年はもっと鍼もマッサージも上手になりますように！そして、健幸堂は別としても コロナのパンデミックが収束しますように！

Anew schedule book and calendars, which I had ordered by Amazon and Rakutenn of Kenkodo have arrived! Those new items always make me excited to imagine enjoyable time in Kenkodo. I hope my skill will be much improved next year. Most of all, apart from Kenkodo, I would like to see the end of the pandemic.

暖かいですよ！
一気に秋が進んで寒くなった。
電気毛布を治療ベッドに敷いた。ファンヒーターもすでに使っている。健幸堂は暖かくて快適です！

It has been cold these days. Autumn seems to proceed in haste!
I spread an electric blanket over the therapy bed. A fan heater has been already working. Now Kenkodo is enough warm and cozy!

太もも裏側の痛み
配送ドライバーのCさんが、太もも裏側の痛みを訴え来院した。痛みが激しいため、対体は前かがみで、今は仕事を休んで休養しているとのこと。治療ベッドの上での動きもつらそうだ。控えめなマッサージから初めて鍼治療に移行した。
治療後、Cさんは 痛みが随分和らいだと言い、前かがみ姿勢が伸びてまっすぐになった。Cさんも驚いただろうが 私も鍼って効くなあ、とびっくり！
ドライバーさんは同様の痛みを訴えることが多い。同じ姿勢を長時間とっているため、筋肉の血液循環が悪くなってしまうからだろう。

Mr.C, a delivery driver came to Kenkodo. He had been suffering serious pain of his left leg. He couldn’t stand straight and bent forward. He said he had absence from work because of the pain. Even changing posture on therapy bed caused pain. I started with quite gentle massage, then made acupuncture therapy. After the treatment, he said the pain has considerably reduced, and he could stand straight. Not only he but also I was surprised by the effectiveness of the therapy!
Many delivery drivers suffer from similar pain, because they keep same posture for a long time and it causes bad blood circulation of muscles.
